Gram Panchayat: Administration and Services
People's Leadership
Gram Sabha: General meeting of the people of the panchayat. Development plans and welfare activities are discussed.
President: The chief administrator of the panchayat. Leads development activities and administrative activities.
Vice President: Provides cooperation in administrative activities. Performs duties in the absence of the president.
Gram Panchayat Committee: A committee of people's representatives that manages development and administrative matters.
Standing Committees
These committees manage activities such as development, finance, health, and education.
Finance: Manages the income and expenditure of the panchayat.
Development: Implements development plans; aims for infrastructure development.
Health and Education: Manages activities in these areas.
Welfare: Implements social security and people's welfare schemes.
Administrative Officers
Panchayat Secretary: The main administrative officer. Coordinates office activities and file procedures.
Assistant Secretary: Administrative and office support. Responsible for Kudumbashree, welfare schemes and Scheduled Caste development.
Accountant: Manages financial transactions, income and expenditure accounts and budget.
Office Section: Head Clerk, Senior Clerk, Clerk and Office Attendant complete daily services, documents and file procedures.
